I am the river; the river is me

Pao River begins here at a great swamp of Nong Han in Kumphawapi district in Udonthani province. It flows to the south throughTha Hai village, Tambon Champi in Si That district of Udon and enter Kalasin at Tha Khantho district.

 Entering Tha Khantho district where the river enters Kalasin province. Khantho means a jug.Tha is a port.  This port is the place that produced jugs.


                         This bridge is not the bridge over the moon river in Southern Isan. The river is an attribute of  Pao River.


     Another bridge over Pao River. This bridge is the borderline of Udon and Kalasin.
The Thai letters read " Mae Nam Pao."
